Biography
Bruce Barton was born in 1886 to Dr. and Mrs. William E. Barton in Robbins, TN. The Bartons later moved to Oak Park and Bruce graduated with honors from Oak Park River Forest High School. Barton married Esther M. Randall in 1913.
In 1919, Barton co-founded the advertising firm Batton, Barton, Durstine, ad Osborn, Inc. Barton published "The Man Nobody Knows" in 1925. Barton served as a House Representative in 1937.
Bruce Barton died in 1967 in New York City. His wife Esther died in 1951.
