Biography
David Shepard Savler was a writer, performer, artist, and teacher. Savler graduated from Oak Park and River Forest High School in 1933. He was on the staff of the Trapeze and the Tabula. He received a masters degree from the University of Chicago. He taught and wrote instructional material for the United States Air Force and served as an associate professor of inernational studies at Air University, Maxwell Field.
